چکیده

Hydrohematite beside 'weakly bound' water removable at 1602000e, contains about 3-4.5 %of tightly held H20, the complete withdrawal of which requires a very high temperature, of about 10000 C. IR investigations have shown that this kind of water exists in the form of hydroxyl groups. For this reason it has been assumed that OHions occupy anion positions in the close-packed anionic sublattice of hematite together with oxygen anions and that the electrostatic neutrality is preserved by Fe3 + deficiency in the cationic positions. Accurate measurements of X-ray reflection intensities of hydro hematites revealed a decrease in intensity of all reflections due to Fe3 +, and an unchanged intensity of (113)-reflection. The intensity of this reflection is exclusively dependent on anions. The results obtained agree well with the calculated values for the model assumed and fully confirm the defect character of hydro hematite structure. Thus the formula of hydrohematite should be written Fe2-iOH)x03-x'

A critical review on structure-soil-structure interaction

The purpose of this paper is to review computational methods in structure-soil-structure interaction. As a result of globalization, buildings are located close to each other. This issue happens especially in big cities, making the study of structure-soil-structure interaction as an essential part of structural design process. The effect of soil medium, on which the building structure stands, es...

Half-metallic properties of KP compound in a bulk and (001) surface of rock-salt structure: A b-initio study

Given the many applications of half-metals in the spintronics devices, we investigated the half-metallic properties of the KP compound in rock-salt (RS) and cesium chloride (CsCl) structural phases by using density functional theory. The results indicated that the KP compound as the half-metal in the RS structure, in contrast to the CsCl structure, due to the small lattice constant and failure ...

Effects of Multiple Structure-soil-structure Interactions Considering the Earthquake Waveform and Structures Elevation Effects

The simultaneous effects of soil and existing structures are known as the site-city interaction (structure-soil-structure). The impact of site-city interaction on structure behavior is effective. Thus, this interaction in some regions decreases the responses while increases in other areas. In addition, the site-city interaction of many parameters including the soil type, density rate, height of...
